Cars will also be checked for:

• wheel and tyre suitability

• guide blade position and movement

• motor and chassis component use

• magnet position

• safe construction

• track compatibility

• ability to race without damaging the track

• ability to complete a race reliably

Teams should make sure their car has enough clearance for the wheels and guide blade to move correctly. Cars must not include any design features that may damage the track, cause a short circuit or stop the car running safely.

These measurements and requirements may be updated during summer 2026 to reflect the new Scalextric chassis parts and components.
