Terms and Conditions – Scalextric4Schools

 

Registration & Participation

 

By registering to take part in Scalextric4Schools, your school agrees to the following terms:

1. Registration Fee

​

Standard registration fee will be £35 per school.All registration fees are non-refundable, unless the competition is cancelled by Scalextric4Schools CIC.

 

2. What Your Registration Includes

 

Each registered school receives access to:

Up to 2 student teams entered into the national competition

A suite of curriculum-linked resources and teaching materials

A full pack of CAD files and digital templates

Access to exclusive downloadable and physical components, including 3D printable parts

A 30% discount code for selected Scalextric components

Free online training in Onshape, PTC Creo, and KeyShot

Priority access to national finals (for Early Bird registrants – see Section 5)

 

3. Discount Code Terms

 

Discount codes are issued to registered schools only and must be used solely for competition-related purchases.

Codes may not be shared, transferred, or used for resale purposes.

Misuse of codes may result in removal from the programme and forfeiture of access.

Codes are issued by Scalextric and there terms and conditions apply to any purchase. 

 

4. Resource Use and Licensing

​

All teaching materials and CAD resources are licensed for educational use only.

Schools may adapt resources for internal use but must not redistribute, upload, or republish them online or in print without written permission.

All designs, digital assets, and resources remain the intellectual property of Scalextric4Schools CIC and must not be used commercially.

 

5. National Finals Access & Eligibility

 

Early Bird registration gives schools priority access to the national final, subject to:

Completion and submission of a valid competition project

Compliance with all competition rules and deadlines

Qualification through regional or virtual heats (if required)

Confirmation of attendance by the supervising teacher

Formal written authorisation from the Headteacher or Principal, confirming permission for students and staff to attend

Places at the national final are limited. Early Bird registration increases the likelihood of selection but does not guarantee entry.

6. Supervision & Safeguarding

All students attending in-person events must be accompanied by a supervising adult from the school.

The school is responsible for arranging travel, safeguarding, and insurance for participating studentsScalextric4Schools CIC accepts no liability for incidents arising from travel, supervision, or failure to follow safeguarding protocols

 

7. Communications & Data

​

By registering, schools agree to receive essential updates by email related to the competition

Schools may opt out of marketing communications but will continue to receive key operational messages

Contact details will be stored securely and never shared without consent, i

 

8. Changes to Terms

 

Scalextric4Schools CIC reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated via the official website or email.
